My Daughter made her shirt using iron on transfer letters.The silver glitter letters are hard to see here.She splatter painted the rest.
This concert was amazing.I have been to many concerts and this one really blew me away.Everyone received a wrist band that lit up during the show.It was beautiful a sea of twinkling lights.Then confetti came down from the ceiling several times with inflatable balloons that looked like globes.When they popped more confetti streamed out.They played all of our favorites! At one point the band was actually in a seated section playing not far from us!Those lucky fans that had far seats were now in the front row!!!!My daughter took photos with her ipad.They are not good quality but I thought I would share them anyway.

Mr. Cottage surprised us on Friday.We were treated to a water park and Six Flags Great America .The water park was set up to look like you were in the Florida keys.Keylime Cove is a fun water park in Gurnee IL.And down the street is Six Flags Great America.
We actually didn’t try any of the slides.The lazy river was so much fun we did that the whole time!We never wanted to get off our inner tube!
I love how it is set up to look like the streets in Key West.
We all had so much fun! I hate to see our summer vacation end!

Your vacation sounds like so much fun-wow on the concert. What a great memory with your daughter! We just did a few day trips close to home this year but because we have benn so busy that was the best vacation-no packing and unpacking:)

Most of our fun this Summer was spent with our children all coming home on weekends to visit. I’ll be sad to let go of this Summer!

We went to Key Lime cove last summer and had a blast! Except right at the end of the weekend my son was on a tube slide and he ran into a man that got stuck in the tube slide! Poor guy. My son walked with a limp the next couple of days because he hurt his ankle when he rammed into the guy.
