I think it fits perfectly in this tight space. There is still plenty of room for my door to open.My front door is just to the right of the photo….but not seen.
I change this often. This time I decided to add a window in front and a few other things too.
I love layering pieces together. But I could not stop here.
I found this old painting at a thrift store. I love the scene and it looks like a window too.So why not put it by my window.
I love the look of art behind glass. And the wear and tear chippy paint is one of my favorite things!
Some candle sticks are added. The bottom shelf is an old tool tote with blue mason jars and some faux greens.I also added those two wooden pieces. One is old the other is not…….I needed a little height.
See I told you I am not ready to let go of the colors of summer. How about you?Are you still enjoying summer colors.Or are you all ready to dive into fall.

How utterly charming and very clever of you, it all works sooo well!
fresh and lovely, anne:) love your cute painting and candlesticks!
You’ve done a good bit of pretty tweaking here! Love the window.

You found the perfect piece for your entry hall and dressed it up beautifully!
I’m getting kind of excited for autumn now that I’ve received a few fall magazines. :@
What a sweet little space! I love the piece of furniture you placed there. Just perfect to do so many welcoming seasonal type of vignettes.
I still love summer colors and always will with my new neutral color pallete. I won’t add any Fall decor until the leaves outside start looking like it. I do very little Fall decor inside anyway. Your entry hall table looks so pretty styled like that. I like the little floral pic peeking through the window like that. I love how vintage that furniture looks too!
What a gorgeous vignette. Just so white and dreamy! That chippy window is a real find!
The art behind the glass has a nice dreamy quality. Lovely, my dear.
Very pretty!
Really love that painting! Everything looks really pretty.
oh my gosh..it is perfect! you must just love it!! I NEVER see anything like that a t a resale shop…maybe I need to shop more…..smiles.
So fun to create new vignettes! Lovely job! My colors get deeper only when it gets colder, if at all. I’ll be dragging my feet leaving summer!
What a beautiful vignette Anne. I love the look of the pretty picture behind the window.
I love the old chippy window and the candleholder on the table next to it are gorgeous.

Love your chippy window! Old windows always add so much charm… your entire vignette is beautiful.
Would love to have you come link this up to Friday OPEN HOUSE!
Lovely, Anne! Your window is fabulous!
So beautiful! Love it!
I love it! Can’t go wrong with an old shabby window in my decorating book 😀
Hugs,
Linsey
I LOVE your entryway! Just gorgeous.

Love the idea of the window over the mirror! So cool!
Oh, I love that furniture piece, Anne! What a great find. You did a wonderful job of layering objects. I think “layering” is something I need to work on. I’m with you on the summer colors! I hold onto summer as long as I can, but I do love fall, too. Summer is my fave, though. I HATE winter. Still trying to find something good about it but haven’t been successful yet. Cold, short. dark days. Snow is pretty when it falls, but that’s about it. Don’t like it laying on the ground and the trees and bushes look so barren and depressing. Ugh. I love all the bright colors of summer and the sunny days. I’ll take 90-degree heat over below-zero temps any day!
