I am making lots of batches to give out as gifts this year. Most of our presents this year are homemade.
Let me tell you our home smells heavenly with the smell of cinnamon and sugar.
That dish is vintage I found it recently at a thrift shop.It is restaurant ware. Love the gray and white colors. It has a french look to it.
Another wonderful thing we made today was cinnamon roasted almonds…YUM!
The fragrance from these almonds is wonderful too! These are a delicious treat that will also be going out as gifts!
This is just the beginning of our baking. We have lots more to do.
The recipes were found at Epicurious.com and Sweet Pea’s Kitchen
Tomorrow I will be sharing my home via Christmas home tour.

I love anything cinnamon.

Biscotti is one of my favorite things to bake for goodie bags. It stays fresh for a long time, so that’s a big plus. My favorites are orange chocolate and cranberry white chocolate biscotti. Everybody needs more calories added to a simple recipe, right? the almonds look yummy, too!

I am so jealous. I have double ovens and they can’t figure out what is wrong with them. They are only 5 years old and computerized and the danged things won’t work. Hopefully they can fix them this week- xo Diana
