I am thrilled that my blog is back.
Things got a bit mixed up but I am so happy all is well!
And I am sure you are too!
While I was getting ready for the market I was letting things go a bit.
It was hard keeping up with my blog…..my home….my business…..and me!
As you can see despite what some think I can’t do it all.
This week I am trying to catch up to email, blogs I follow,my home and me.
So you are wondering about this piece here huh?
Well I came across it recently and I just can’t walk away from these chippy vintage architectural pieces.
And the color is perfect for my home.
A bit of pure white and a bit of creamy white.
Perfect!
While I am cleaning I have been making some slight changes around here.
I even decided to add a bit of color to my farmtable.
It is a very slight color.
The fabric is very faded with a rose pattern.
This is actually a curtain valence but the size works perfect for my table.
In the bright sun it is hard to see the floral pattern.
It’s just enough color.
And you can see my petite farmhouse it the background.
I decided to keep it on my little pink table.
It was so nice to see the sun today.
Hope the sun is shining for you today too!

So happy everything is fixed! Sometimes technology is our friend and sometimes it is our nemesis! ha ha
Your architectural pieces are so cool! I find such beauty in pieces with chippy paint. My husband doesn’t get it. Illinois is such a wonderful place for finding treasures and I always enjoy seeing yours. 🙂

I love the little bit of color, Anne. It stands out so prettily against the white. Those are great pieces and so easy to put wherever you want a bit of whimsy..Happy Wednesday..Judy

Love that unique architectural piece. They add so much interest to a room. I never thought of using a valance as a table runner before. It makes perfect sense though! What a great idea. Yours is the perfect style for your kitchen.
