I wanted to share this post again.
Donna at Funky Junk recently lost her beloved Cat teddy.
In honor of Teddy and in a celebration of animals she is hosting a pet party.
Since many of you were not followers in the early stages of my blog I thought I would reintroduce you to our family companion.
This Tabitha her name is not very unique since she is a tabby cat.
But the name really fits her.
And her nickname is ……tabby.
Tabby joined our family four years ago after my daughter asked for a pet.
She has been the perfect fit for our family.
Tabby is always has to be by us she is a total lap cat.
As I am typing she is sitting snuggled next to me.
Every night she sleeps snuggled next to my daughter.
They are the best of friends.
And during the day she loves to nap on my daughters bed.
I think her scent brings her comfort as she longs for her buddy to come home from school.
She really is a sweet and lovely cat.

My son is the one who convinced us to get a cat. I’m so glad we listened to him. 🙂 My Holly looks a lot like your Tabby. Such sweet, sweet kitties! We love having a cat in the house. 🙂

What a sweet kitty!! My daughter has a tabby cat too and he is her snuggle buddy at night. Her poor kitty has a UTI that he can’t seem to get rid of and has had to stay at the vet’s for the last few days. They are hoping that he will be able to come home on Monday. We are all missing him.

My Kitty is george-he is the sweetest male I ever have had the honor of sharing a home with. Thank goodness he allows me to sleep with him. I am happy your daughter has such a sweet buddy.

What a gift to your family and in reverse, to her. My cats have always brought me companionship, comfort and joy, just in being who they are. Bless their little hearts.

Oh how beautiful!~ my Mom is a cat lover, and now she just got two little morkies. At first cat was not happy..but now, she is hanging around with her new siblings and all is good.
Tabby is so pretty, love her markings. She looks like such a snuggle bug.They are such a comfort and loves.
We didn’t have a cat for long time til one adopted us one Saturday afternoon. I thought he was a she so named him/her Molly. Poor guy, no wonder he ignored me. He just kinda arrived and seemed to like it at our house so we figured what the heck. He’a an orange striped kitty which I tend to be partial to. He came with us to CO (from KY) and is such a sweetheart also. He loves his Daddy’s lap. I move too much but we snuggle in bed alot. He loves to sleep over my head on pillow against the headboard. We think he’s about 10 but not sure. He competes with our dog for our attention, they seem to be jealous of each other. After all Monte (not molly) was here first. They are good buddies tho. They are our furry kidz. Happy Days

This is such a sweet post. I’m sorry to hear about Donna’s cat. Pets are so special. I can’t imagine living without one. They really do complete us.
