I wanted to share a little garden tour but first… when labor day rolls around we put out our Flag Bunting and it stays up until the end of summer.
Nothing says Americana to me like red white and blue on a front porch.

Yes I think we are ready for the fourth of July!But even after the 4th it will stay up all summer long.

Things are blooming very well this year.Although I am waiting for my hydrangea’s.They are a bit slow this year.
My knock out roses are blooming like crazy! Love this vibrant color!
I also planted a David Austin Rose bush but I am not expecting it to do well in this first year.

Gorgeous flowers! Wish I could smell those roses. And yes, our bunting stays up all summer too starting at Memorial Day, through Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and now actually comes down after 9/11. Even our Main Street keeps every flag on the telephone poles lining the road for that time. It’s a very patriotic town, I love it!
I love your patriotic bunting too. I do think flags and bunting just say summer! I have some that I put out around the 4th of July too. My neighbor leaves hers out all summer like you do too. Your flowers are beautiful! Love your roses and lavender.

Hi Anne. I love bunting. We hang ours on Memorial Day and leave up until 4th of July, after goes up the chinese lanterns for the Grand Illumination. They stay up until the end of summer. It’s all so much fun. Your garden is beautiful..Happy Weekend..Judy
