When I found this chippy pink bench the first thing that came to my mind was French centerpiece.
Oh yes I have been changing things around again.
Ever so slightly though.
I came across an old chippy petite pink bench I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.
Something French with a little romance and of course farmhouse too!
These are great little pieces as they can be used for so many things.
One being to add a little height to a vignette.
I knew just where I wanted to add this.
And you know how head over heals I am not only for chippy paint but chippy pink paint it is one of my weaknesses.
This has the perfect patina.
I decided to add a vintage galvanized bucket with this vignette.
But leaving it plain was not working for me.
It needed just a bit of something.
Off I went into my studio looking for some inspiration of what could be added.
I came up with this.
Some scrapbook paper I ripped to add a bit of old charm and then I just simply added some mod podge to decoupage it onto the bucket.
I love the colors on this and it goes perfectly with my dried roses.
Yes I do hold on to my roses once they die.
Once they are done blooming I gather a bunch and rubber band them.I then hang them upside down.
I have a hook in my studio that I hang these from.
I love this simple look.
Oh and to get these all to stand and not flop all over the place.
I added some moss to the bucket to stabilize the flowers.
To this vignette I also added some of my white pitchers and one of my favorite scented candles.
Adding some vintage French chippy pink charm to the dining room!

How pretty Anne! I too hang on to my roses and dry them. But when they get dusty I have to toss them :-/ allergies . I had a window box ( I have used it as a center piece lots of times) filled with dried roses and baby’s breath. It was adorable! But it got dusty….
I luv the little chippy bench 🙂
Happy Sunday!!
((hugs)) Gee
