Well I bet when you heard the word cappuccino you thought I would be sharing a delicious Italian caffeinated drink.
I thought about that too when I saw this on Kathleen’s blog Faded Charm.
Kathleen has such an eye for everything vintage I just adore her style!
She recently had a giveaway to win a set of dishes from pfaltzgraff in the color cappuccino.
I saw here beautifully photographed tablescape and was hoping I would win.
While I was on vacation ( I just recently returned I promise I will share soon) I checked my email and received one from Kathleen telling me that I had won!
I thought I would put my own tablescape together to show how pretty these dishes are.
Whether you are setting a table for a fancy dinner ,a luncheon or everyday these dishes look beautiful.
I decided to add a bit of lace to my farmhouse table.I found this pretty tablecloth tucked away and brought it out.
It works perfectly with this setting.
Instead of doing a centerpiece arrangement I added a stone cherub and used some tarnished silver goblets as vases on every setting.
Using some fresh roses and lavender from my garden.
As you sit at your place setting you will get a lovely scent of roses and lilacs which smells heavenly.
I love how large the plates are.And the unique style and shape. They really fit into any decor.
When I was first married just like Kathleen I registered for pfaltzgraff dishes from Jcpenny.
I had my dishes for years and finally I decided to get rid of them. Why well not because of any flaw but I was tired of the pattern.I cannot tell you how I am kicking myself now for parting with them. They held up so well.I am always on the hunt at thrift stores for my pattern. But I still have not found them yet.
I love that these are dishwasher safe and microwave safe.I cannot say that about most of my white dishes.
Thank you so much Kathleen I am thrilled to have won your giveaway. We love our new dishes. And I know where to buy these if we need more.I am told Kohls.com and JcPenny.com sell these!
Love those large coffee mugs!
I had to show one more shot of my garden rose.Love this pretty pink color.A few sprigs of lavender tucked in…perfection to me!

Congratulations on winning the dishes, Anne! I have a set of Pfaltzgraff Heritage dishes that I bought when we were first married. I don’t use them often as I have another set of white dishes. Since I don’t have a dishwasher, it’s never a problem! Your table looks lovely all dressed in white with your pretty flowers. 🙂
