Well if you follow along with me on my facebook page you would have heard that our dishwasher bit the dust.
Yes we were doing our dishes by hand.When I told my daughter we would have to wash dishes by hand she said “Like in the olden days”. Yes just like in the olden days….am I that old!?
After some researching we decided on this Kitchenaide dishwasher.And no this is not a sponsored post.
I have to tell you so far I am very happy with this.It is really quiet.I would not say silent as you can hear it a bit as the water is filling.But after that it is almost silent.And the dishes come out clean and dry!
Hoping this one will last longer than our last one.
I have been making some changes around here.
Do you remember I painted my kitchen wall with chalkboard paint.
Well after living with it for a bit I decided it needed something else so……I decided to add some frames to the wall.
I had some vintage frames already on hand.I usually pick these up when I find them.
Now as I change my quotes each piece will be a work of art.
I am hoping to get back and share more recipes.
But I have been getting our home ready….can’t share for what yet.But I will share soon.

Dang, sorry about a broken appliance, hate that. We have a new s/s KitchenAid dishwasher and it is heavenly too – super quiet and does the job well.

What a great kitchen – and your frames are the perfect thing. I painted my refrigerator with chalkboard paint and my only complaint is that it is always smudged and never just black. Seeing your wall look like my frig makes me feel better. it is so cute – now, I can step back and relax about my frig. Thanks for sharing.
Anne- I love the frames on the wall. I sometimes wash the dishes by hand even when I DO have a dishwasher that works. lol I had a KitchenAid in my last house and it did a really good job. Hope it lasts forever (almost) xo Diana

Your chalk board wall is so great. I love love the frames on there with the quotes. That is genius. Glad you got your new dishwasher up and cleaning for you. We don’t realize how much we miss these contraptions until they are broken. Ha ha your daughter saying wash dishes like in the olden days!!!!! Too funny.

Darn appliances! I would love to buy a new sofa, but had to buy a new washing machine instead. I still haven’t figured how to change the water temperature. lol!

Ever since I got rid of my old fridge that I made a chalkboard, I have been wanting to do a chalkboard somewhere in my kitchen. Your wall has inspired me to do one, maybe on my island hmmm….. I really like the white frames!
