First I wanted to thank you all for your sweet comments about my feature in Creating Vintage Charm. It is a huge honor for me!About a year ago I shared my creative space that I created HERE .Now I am going to share my creative space part 2.
Why part 2 you ask?Well when I changed my daughters bedroom we swapped out our desk and chair sets. Her desk was a little larger than mine. This little furniture change called for a revamp of the room.
Oh my I don’t even know where to begin…… well the wall color is the same and the curtains are the same.
That dining table was in my kitchen until I decided the farm style table would be better in my kitchen.
I kept the chairs and am storing them in case I decide to change it back.Although I don’t see that happening anytime soon.I really love my farm house table in my kitchen.
I put my daughters old desk in that corner. It is a little larger than the other desk and works better in that spot.
That wire piece in the corner was in my space when I was at the mall.I found it at a garage sale last year I have no idea what it was used for but I love the chippy paint.
The vintage paper roll holder on the table was a recent find at antique mall.Love the pink paper.I am planning on using this for wrapping some of the purchases when I open my online shop!
The suitcases under the table are not vintage and those were also used at my space. Those are great storage.Right now they are holding extra scraps of fabrics.
I recently found that medicine cabinet at a garage sale I love it and am planning on adding it to our bathroom…eventually. But for now I thought it would look great in this room.
That old metal locker was in my laundry room.I was using this for our shoes. It did not work as well as the lockers we have now! This stores all of my paint and paint supplies.
That wicker shelving unit was my latest find . I actually bought it to use somewhere else.
But I like that little bit of wood in here.I think it adds a bit of warmth.
I decided to decopauge the top of my daughters previous desk using vintage French book pages and bits of torn wall paper.Love this whimsical look!
That lamp is actually the same one I had previous. But I changed the lampshade.I took the old fabric off and then I added lace trim all along the shade and tying it.Similar to how I created the one I shared HERE
I kept the armoire but changed it to the opposite side of the room and added some chalkboard paint to the doors. This is great to add little notes or words of inspiration!
That French chair and was planning on fixing it and selling it at my space. But when I left I decided to fix it and keep it.It was already painted.I did not want to do a big redo so I just took some painters drop cloth fabric and recovered it …raw just using upholstery tacks.
Hope to see you all tomorrow at the Scoop!

This is so great Anne and so full of light! One thing I would change about my studio is the light factor. I wish when we built it we would have put in more windows. Yours looks so light and airy and perfect for working in.
