A Little Red Tractor

October 24, 2013

I recently came across this sweet little red tractor.I knew it would fit in well with my farmhouse kitchen.

I fell for the perfectly chippy red paint.

A child’s toy at one time now adorns the shelf above my refrigerator  in my kitchen.

At first I thought this might be a perfect match for my old farmhouse.

When you look at it from this perspective it seems to work.

But as you get a little closer you realize that the tractor is a bit too big for that sweet farmhouse.

Yes I think this little tractor fits perfectly in this kitchen.

How cute is that! I gave my son his Granddad’s tractor that he had a boy. I don’t think it was ever played with and it is in pristine condition. My son LOVES that kind of stuff so I know it will be well taken care of- xo Diana

Have you thought about sitting the house on an old crate to elevate it? This may make it more in proportion with your trailer…..either way, I love the tractor!

Of course you know I’d love that red tractor! We’re used to larger than life trucks in our mining town, so the tractor doesn’t look out of place next to the farmhouse. 🙂

I love your new blog design, Anne!

Oh I love your sweet little tractor and that little farmhouse!! I took a not nearly as chippy red tractor to my booth just the other day. I’m kinda of regretting that now! 🙂

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
