Weeks ago I came across a sheepskin rug,it looks like a Pottery Barn sheepskin rug and may very well be from Pottery Barn.
I have been drooling wanting one of these rugs since seeing them photographed in one of my favorite magazines Jeanne d’arc.
But it was not something I really needed to spend money on right now.
And still I kept searching thrift shops and antique shops hoping to find one and finally did!
This sheepskin rug was 20.00 found at a thrift shop.
Let me say that it may seem like I find something every time I walk into a thrift shop or antique shop.
But that could not be farther from the truth.
I am out treasure shopping often driving from shop to shop.
I can go for weeks or months and not find a single thing.
And then there are times that I am there at the right time and get lucky!
That is really all it is luck and timing.
When I finally found this, and I was so excited when I did.
I was not sure where I was going to put it.
The first spot was under my farmhouse table in my living room.
But after posting this on Face Book one of the comments I received was that “It looks like a trapped animal in a cage” I thought that I better think of another place.
I decided to add this on top of my sofa in my living room instead of using it on my floor.
And it works perfectly!
I love the soft butter cream color and it’s so soft and luxurious .
A fresh bouquet from our market was on sale this week.
I love many flowers but roses have always been a favorite of mine.
I really did not change much in this room yet other than the rug.
But I will soon be slowly changing and decorating for Christmas.
I have to be honest I normally do not decorate so early.
Usually I don’t start until after Thanksgiving.
But I will be sharing things a little earlier this year.
Ah the life of a blogger.

It’s beautiful and nice and clean. I think it would also look amazing draped on the chair to the left. Love your style!

When my 2 children were babies (now 34 and 31) they loved their sheepskin rugs. Believe it or not, the rugs are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They are the ultimate “lovie.” Enjoy yours!
