Months ago I came across this sweet book, translated in English it means Small Tales France.
I love finding vintage books but my favorite finds are the petite French books.
If the books are in really poor condition I will use them for crafts.
But this book is in wonderful condition,so I will enjoy this just sitting out on a table.
Very recently I came across this vintage chippy tote.
The color and patina spoke to me so it had to come home here with me.
I have lots of these vintage wood totes.
But none of them are the same and this is the only one that I have that has been painted.
I love this original paint and patina.
These totes can be used for so many things.
I usually always have at least one of these totes out somewhere in my home.
I like to place mason jars or old soda bottles with flowers in these totes.
They are great for napkins and utensils too!
I keep all of my roses and hydrangeas and dry them.
They are always so pretty displayed even when they are done blooming.
I often use them for crafting projects.
And all of those who know me well know that pink roses have always been a favorite of mine.
I used to paint roses, they are one of my favorite subjects to paint.

Christmas is almost here and I am getting the itch to start changing things around.
Are you feeling that way too?
Remember I have had my Christmas trees and decor up since the week before Thanksgiving.
And I will keep things up until after New Years day.
Then I will change things around for a white winter.
But secretly I will be ready to start decorating for spring!
Our porch is almost finished!
A dream of mine has come to a reality.
I will be sharing the whole process with you all very soon.
So as I sit here looking out at the snow,I will be dreaming of our new room and decorating it of course!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!

Anne,
I cannot wait to see your new porch. It will be so much fun for you to decorate. I am with you on wanting to take things down and rearrange and do some transforming of rooms. I have had my decor up since before Thanksgiving too so it is time. I will leave it up until after the 1st then it will all get packed away until next year.
Merry Christmas.
