December 30, 2013

PicMonkey Collageprojects

Along with my top five posts I decided to a year in review of the top DIY projects 2013.

I started off with my daughters bedroom reveal.

You can view it HERE:French Chic Bedroom Reveal

My chalkboard wall was a nice addition to my kitchen and so easy to do!

You can view  that post HERE:Kitchen Chalkboard Wall

This is part of the top five posts but was also a project from 2013.

This was the first time I painted on fabric and I assure you it will not be my last!

This has held up incredibly well!

You can read how I did it HERE:I’m Sexy And I Know It!

This is also part of my top five posts.

But also a reveal for 2013.

My favorite part of this room is the lockers!

I cannot tell you how awesome it is to have a place for our jackets, shoes and my daughters backpack and things too!

If you are looking for lockers at a good price don’t give up,they are out there.

Check garage sales and craigs list.

These were a steal of a price.

To read about this reveal go HERE:Laundry Room Reveal.

I recently found another chair and decided to paint it.

Yes I used Annie Sloan chalk paint on a leather chair I found at a thrift shop.

My master bedroom had some changes this year too.

I painted a few pieces of my furniture, changed the curtains and switched out a few pieces too!

mirrogold

I am always changing things around so after the first reveal I added this mirror and a few chandeliers too!

You can read the changes I made HERE :Transforming A Master Bedroom

A Chippy Side Table

I have an ongoing project right now that I am really not a part of yet.

We have a screened in porch being installed to our home.

It is almost finished, and in the spring I get to put the finishing touches to it.

At the end of summer I picked up a vintage set of chairs and a table at a thrift shop.

I painted them so they would be ready to add to the porch.

This was a super easy project.

I once again used Annie Sloan Chalk paint on these chair cushions.

To read more about how I painted them HERE:Chic Vintage Find

And lastly a few changes in my family room.

It started out with a pair of Angel wings I won from Decor Steals

I painted them with chalk paint and paired them with this mirror that was hanging on my mantle.

A very simple project, but one that lead me to make a few other changes in this room.

You can read more about that HERE:Christmas Home Tour

I have so much more to share with you!

This past week has been wonderful spending time with my family and relaxing too!

And this time away from work has given me so much inspiration.

I have been writing down and making notes of many projects that I will be sharing in the coming year!

I hope you will join me in this coming year as I reveal much more!

I wanted to thank you for following me along here,on pinterest, facebook, instagram, twitter and via-email too!

Wishing you and your family lots of blessings in the coming year!

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
