Sometimes when I am out thrift shopping I look for things that will look pretty in photos to use as props.
Now that my Shop is open,I wanted a piece of furniture to shoot photos to really show a piece that I am selling.
Depending what I am shooting a photo of,I need something that would really show a piece.
I found this table,yes it is a bit too tall to have next to the sofa,but I may change that and cut the legs down.
I really don’t have another spot for it,so may just pull it out as I need it.
This was recent find, and I knew the color would work well with some of my lighter pieces.
It’s hard to photograph white on white.
My pink chippy table does work great but it’s nice to have another option.
This table has amazing patina,love the worn black paint with a bit of green showing through.
I am not always attracted to this color,but as I said it really helps when you want to photograph a lighter subject.
And I have to admit pink looks amazing against this color!
Love the soft pink with a dark rich color…..it looks a bit French!
One of my favorite chippy painted pieces.
It’s a bit wonky but it works.
And yes it has amazing patina too!

Your dark table does have a lovely patina! I really love your tiny pink stool! Just too cute!! I’m always on the lookout for a little one for myself to use as a lift.

I, too, am always looking for background props for my shop items. Sometimes I just have to resort to white or black poster board to really show off a piece. I love my shop but packing and shipping….no!. Best of luck with your new endeavor Anne.
Thank you Lynn.I have been in a shop and have done many shows I know that shipping can be a pain but I would much prefer shipping items than owning my own shop or doing shows at this time.It allows me to be more flexible with my time.And I need that with my blog.
