Last Friday I was planning on catching up to things around my house, you know like cleaning, laundry, and shipping out orders from the shop.
And I was hoping on getting ahead on blog posts, and listing a few new items in my SHOP.
But Kris from Junk Chic Cottage called and asked me if I was going to a sale.
A sale……?
I told her I did not know about this sale, but I was heading on out.
Like I really had the time to do this with my busy schedule.
Well I shipped the packages out and off I was to the sale.
The sale was held at Carol from Redeemed Vintage home.
Let me just say her home is absolutely gorgeous.
No photos to share,I was at a sale and I knew there was no time for photos.
I may have to contact her sometime to see if I can photograph her home and do a feature on my blog.
I did find a few things at her sale, but since my taste is changing and I long even more for those chippy pieces I walked out with only a few treasures.
One is this sweet pitcher on my table.
Love this sweet old pitcher , it is full of crazing and discoloration!
I already had one very similar to this, but two is better than one.
After the sale as I was heading home, I had to drive by several thrift shops.
One of the thrift shops had this beautiful vintage 1950’s pink prom dress.
Isn’t this gorgeous!
This corner is tricky for photos, I thought my chippy pink stool and flowers would look sweet in a photo.
I am not going to keep this dress on my vintage dress form, I want to keep my dress form just as is for awhile.
Maybe I will add this sweet pink dress to this dress form over the summer.
I have been playing around making my own jewelry, more on that soon.
While at this thrift shop I found a bag full of vintage jewelry and this was one of the pieces.
You know me I love anything with a little bling.
I will be repurposing this into a necklace.
***************************************************
I came across two sets of beautiful vintage sheets, and pillow cases.
I am not sure how old these are but after sharing these on facebook they seem to have been from the 60’s or 70’s.
They are adorned with gorgeous pink roses, and they are in amazing condition for there age.
They look as though they were hardly used or just really well taken care of.
Just listed these in my SHOP.
And this Ice Cream bucket.Last one until I find more.

Hi Anne,
I adore beyond words the pink prom dress! I would have died and gone to heaven if I had found it at a thrift store. I have been looking for one I could afford for years. You lucky gal! It’s perfect and I just love pink so much in your décor.
Hugs, Lynnie

Hi Anne- I saw that Kris went to that same sale and got some treasures, too. I think I am going to have to meet that gal and get a personal invitation myself! Great pitcher, too! Hope your shop is doing well for you!;>)
