I feel like I have neglected my blog a bit these last few weeks,but being sick and now getting ready for my daughters party I have had a little too much going on to keep focused on my blog.
I have said this before and I will say it again,my family is most important and they will always come first.
My daughter is growing up before my very eyes,I am so blessed to have been able to be a stay at home Mom.
It is not without challenges and sacrifices but it has been so worth it!
Besides her graduating from 8th grade her dance recital is coming up in the next week.
Yes this is a crazy busy time for us and soon we will be taking some family time together for our vacation.
Can’t believe how grown up my daughter is looking,she is not a little girl anymore,but she will always be a little girl to me to matter how old she is.

I had several people ask me about that chandelier in our kitchen above our sink.
It is from Menards.com it was very easy to put together and hang.
It also gives off wonderful light with two 60 watt bulbs.

Yes Rena sometimes it feels just like a blip….and then before you know it they are older and so are you…..enjoying the last years of my girl being a child.
You are right! This is such an important time to be “present”, mentally and physically, for all the important times that you will never get back again! Relax and enjoy your daughter’s special time.

I agree so much, family comes first, it’s nice weather now and yesterday was the last day for my two grandsgirls so I’ll be watching them for the nest three months. I won’t be posting like I do in the winter, I don’t want to miss them growing up either!

Father Time is a rascal~~you turn around and they’re all grown up! Seems like yesterday my two sons were little, then pre-teens, teens…now they’re in their 30’s and I can hardly believe it! I, of course, have not aged at all *cough* well, hardly…LOL! Enjoy this time you have with your daughter, you’ll blink and she’ll be ready for college. Just sayin’. ; )
