Sometimes I surprise myself with pieces that catch my eye, like this Gluggle jug.
Interesting name isn’t it?
This is nothing new,I actually have had my eye on this for many years.
And just recently I decided I needed to bring one home.
I think the color is something I fell for too.
It’s definitely a conversation piece.
This Gluggle jug is from England.
It gets is name from the sound it makes when you pour the water into a glass it makes a glug, glug sound.
I will be using this mostly for our lemon water.
Yes I still enjoy my large mason jar,but it can be a pain filling it up.
This is much smaller and easier to fill and clean.
Besides using this for lemon water,I think this would be great for Margaritas!
Someone on instagram mentioned filling it with wine and using it as a wine decanter.
You can also use this to store you kitchen utensils,or as a vase.
But I like the fun idea of pouring and hearing that glug, glug!
This color works perfectly in my kitchen too,but they do have other pretty colors.
I also have a matching coffee creamer.
This was not a sponsored post, all opinions are that of my own.

I purchased a cream colored pottery one about 20 years ago – can’t believe I never knew that it was called a gluggle jug. I have only used it for display, but now I am definitely going to fill it with water to hear the glug glug!!! Love how yours looks on that amazing pink scale!

I never knew the name of these vases but I have one that is a very deep teal/green….it just spoke to me and I had to get it years ago. I love that you are using it. Thanks.
