Taking Photos Of Rooms

July 6, 2014

When I first started my blog I was pretty new to taking photos of rooms,I took many photos of my daughter when she was small.

It was fun dressing her up in pretty outfits, using props and things and doing a photo shoot.

Sort of like playing with a doll in the early days.

She had so many outfits, too many to wear before she grew out of them.

So I would take photos of her in the outfits so I could remember her wearing them.

Lighting is always key in photography, and I want to start practicing taking photos of people.

I recently found this sweet pink apron and it had to come home with me.

Inside the tag reads neat and tidy, wonder if this was a uniform apron someone wore.

The photo is a bit blurry because my subject,my daughter kept moving.

I want to keep practicing so I can get better.

If you look back at the early stages of my blog you can see how my photos have improved.

That’s because I practiced, and not just practiced but shared it with all of you.

You can see I need lots of practice with this,I will be sharing photos of my daughter periodically so I can improve my photography skills.

Hope you don’t mind me sharing.

Also going to work on more video posts too!

I do think that having a blog makes you a better photographer. You see things differently than an ordinary person. I think your pictures look great!

It is fun to practice photography–you are lucky your daughter is a willing subject! My 15 year old daughter never wants me to take pictures of her. Will look forward to seeing what you do next!

ABOUT THIS BLOG

ABOUT THIS BLOG

Hi I'm Anne.
I started this blog many years ago to share my passion for home decor. My tastes have changed and so did I.
We recently moved to Florida and we are starting a new chapter. My main focus on this blog has shifted. With that I'll be sharing more than home decor.
You'll see makeup tips, skincare, fashion and a little bit of decor as well. You can check out my Youtube channel as well and follow me along. I'll leave all of my older posts up as a reference. But you'll see lots of changes.
