I would love to sit here and tell you all very proudly that I made this vintage Jewelry stand, but the truth is I did not.
I found it months ago right after I finished my daughters bathroom make over, you can read more about that HERE.
But I was busy and just never got around to sharing this.
I found this while out shopping,it is so simple I could have just made this myself, but I did not have the pieces to do it and the price was right so I bought it.
But I wanted to share it with you all because it will inspire you to look for fun pieces when you are out treasure hunting.
If you are like me besides looking for pretty pieces when I am treasure hunting,I always dig through the tools, and houseware things.
Sometimes you will find cool vintage drawer pulls, old paint brushes,or a vintage wheel from and old cart or buggy.
While you are looking you might find a lamp that does not work but has a really cool base on it and has a super cheap price tag…..say 2.00.
Then while you are still looking you may find scraps of wood, maybe they came from a piece of furniture or part of a house.
If you are lucky to come across pieces like those, then grab them!
All those pieces will help make this one of a kind jewelry holder!
And it’s super easy to put together too!
Just attach these pieces together using screws.
Here are some close up shots of this piece.
I told you this is super easy!
My daughter loves using this for her necklaces,we keep it in her bathroom on top of her vanity.
It really makes her jewelry a piece of art,and is easy to put her jewelry on and off.
Love this special piece that was her Grandmothers a treasured gift from her Aunt.
Don’t pass up looking through the tool section at a garage sale or thrift shop, sometimes that is where you will find the best treasures!

Your daughter is pretty lucky gal to have such an imaginative Mom to make her jewelry stands. That is wonderful. Now I’ll be looking for a buggy/trike/wagon wheel. Have couple wagons but don’t want to take wheels off for this. I use one of them to haul laundry basket out to lines. Then I don’t have to bend down with heavy laundry, not too good for old backs. Such an ingenious way to hang necklaces, chains won’t be kinked then. Lucky girl having an eirloom from family.
I love to buy old lamps to use for parts, make candlesticks and remake the lamp.
Shoot doggone it the daily rain storm is moving in already, monsoon time. Our weather is changing, didn’t used to have monsoon til late July early Aug.
Hope you’re having great summer
