Did you know that there is actually a pumpkin called a pink porcelain doll pumpkin,it’s a hybrid.
Okay so one night I was sitting at my computer and thinking….hmmmmm wonder if they have pink pumpkins?
I mean they have green pumpkins,blue pumpkins,white pumpkins,peanut pumpkins…why not pink.
So I google searched it and sure enough there are pink pumpkins!
I knew I had to find one of these pumpkins so the search was on.
And so I found one,at Walmart of all places!
This was the only one at our local Walmart.
But I wanted one more…so….I drove to yet another Walmart and found this one.
This one is amazing because it’s not only pink but has splashes of green in it.
Sort of like chippy paint!
Isn’t this amazing!
I absolutely love the color of these pink pumpkins!

That pink pumpkin is perfect for you! I know a lot of people don’t shop at Walmart or like it, but I’m there multiple times a week for groceries etc. I’m fortunate enough to have a nice one not too far from me (in a good part of town). I find all kinds of nice things at Walmart. Their pumpkins are the lowest prices around. Glad that you found what you were looking for! I guarantee that pumpkin would’ve cost a lot more at a pumpkin farm.

I love pink pumpkins and started decorating with them last fall. Michigan farmer’s markets have quite a selection. Never would have thought to look at Wal-Mart, although I am continuously surprised (an post about) by some of their home décor items.

Hmm. Here’s a thought–why not just paint the OUTSIDE of the cabinet. You know the sides, cabinets etc. and leave the inside (where that monstrous, sorry, very large TV is). Lots of decorators are painting the backs and inside shelves of cabinets and entertainment centers with a contrasting color. You’ll just be starting a new trend and reversing the process! Might raise this “dark” secret up to no secret. What do you think?

Hi Anne. You found the perfect fall decoration for your beautiful home. We are going to a farm close to us in October and they raise pink pumpkins. A portion of the proceeds when you buy one will go towards breast cancer research. So two for one. Great deal and yours looks really pretty in your space..Happy Tuesday..Judy

I’m surprised but not surprised that there are pink pumpkins, Anne. I think because I know there are those blue grey ones around that I’m not surprised but who would have thought pink! I’m going to have to look for some when we are out pumpkin picking.

How cute Anne, hadn’t ever thought of finding pink pumpkins let alone heard of them. The ones you found are very unusual looking, go well with your décor. Glad you were able to find them. Walmart does have lots of new great home décor in Better Homes and Gardens line.
We were at our best Walmart yesterday but have to admit didn’t see any pink pumpkins. They did have some huge pumpkins tho that would weigh a great deal, need help to lift them into cart.
We don’t go to Walmart that often, usually just on our SS payday for our massive grocery shopping. I’ll have to look for pink ones at other Walmart which is way on other side of town. We go there rarely, only when we go to Habitat, not far from it. I’d like to find the little white boo pumpkins .Will look when we go to City Market closer to us.
When we lived in KY we’d go to great vintage store that always had big load of pumpkins and gourds for great prices. Was just few miles south of Bowling Green. There are several things I miss about KY.
Can’t believe it’s Thursday already. Been trying to get some cleaning done but really want to go to Habitat and any other thrift stores we can find. Have great weekend
