A few weeks ago I was lucky to attend Jeniffer Rizzo’s Creatively Christmas book signing.
It was held in a beautiful old train museum building.
This was the same place we met up last spring for our yearly blogging event that Jeniffer so graciously plans.
I love this room is so charming and I love the history behind it!
Traci the owner of Whimsy in Morris Ill,helped Jennifer decorate this lovely room.
I love this glittered up sign!
And the hat on top of this tinsel tree.
Little Hersey kisses around a cut piece of log make the perfect setting for this miniature tree display.
Isn’t this cute!
Great idea for a holiday party centerpiece!
Sweet vignettes everywhere you looked!
Delicious cupcakes propped perfectly on this vintage sled.
Plenty of food for all!
And the rock star Jen signing my book!
Moi and Jennifer 🙂
Let me tell you a little about this amazing book!
It’s beautifully photographed by Jennifer herself.
Creatively Christmas not only filled with amazing photos that will surely inspire you,but with easy to make crafts.
Here is a little peek at some of the homes featured.
Many fellow bloggers homes are featured in this gorgeous book.
Here are just a few, Jennifer Rizzo’s home of course and Jeannie Oliver,Jennifer from Town and Country Living
I wanted to share one of Jennifer’s crafts featured in this book.
So I decided to make one of her pretty pom-pom tree’s.
But I gave mine a shabby twist.
I decided to make a pink pom-pom tree.
Yes they make pink cotton balls.
I ordered mine on line but you could easily find these at craft stores.
I also decided to use a styrofoam cone because I wanted to see a little white peeking through.
But you can use a cardboard cone as Jen suggested.
Those bells were found at a thrift shop, but you can buy new bells at a craft store.
I also use a glue gun for mine because I like fast, and I am a little impatient waiting for the glue to dry 😉
I started by pulling apart a cotton ball because these are a little thick.
The I started at the bottom.
Just dab a little glue on the cotton ball and stick it to the cone.
As you can see these sort of look like rose’s and I love that look!
When you get to the next row make sure to start it in the middle of two cotton balls,as in a brick laying effect.
You don’t want these all perfectly lined up.
Keep working all the way up the cone, then glue the bells on.
I used less than Jen did but do whatever you want.
If you want more add more.
How easy is that!
This would be a fun craft to do with your kids, but if you do then please do not use a hot glue gun.
Use a non-toxic glue.

I LOVE Christmas crafts!! I’m always looking to Pinterest and sites like this for inspiration! One of my girlfriends, who is only home for two months a year, and I get together and do a Christmas craft that we can make multiples of, to send home with all our girlfriends at our annual holiday Yankee swap.
Pom Pom Tree is so cute 🙂

Your pink Christmas tree reminds me of cotton candy from the fair. It is fitting for your home and love of pink! Thank you for the chance at the book by Jennifer.
Charming and delightful book and blog post! I would love to see the book, and I look forward to your posts. Hugs!
Ohmigosh! One of your best posts. I am so inspired by what you show from the book. If I don’t win it (wish, wish, wish…hope that works), where can I find it for sale? I just have to see more. And I definitely must try the little cotton ball tree. I have never seen pink cotton balls for sale. Did you have to order them? I think I’ll try white with red bells. I am having a cookie exchange at my house before Christmas and this would be so cute on my western style kitchen table. Hoping, hoping, wishing, hoping!
