What a surprise, another chippy pink table is now gracing my home.
Well you know how much I love decorating with shabby chic style furniture, especially those special pieces that have that wonderful original chippy patina.
A friend of mine who is an antiques dealer, gave me the heads up on this lovely piece she had in her garage.
I have bought many pieces from her, here are a few.
This beyond gorgeous chandelier.
This perfectly shabby green ice cream bucket.
This yummy chippy pink window.
This lovely French bistro set, from last summer.
And this chippy pink table, door and that sconce that is on the door.
Yes there are more pieces that I bought from her, but you get the idea.
I love what she sells because it’s totally me!
She sent me a photo from her phone, and I shared that a few days ago.
Here is that lovely chippy pink table gracing my home.
Cords are never pretty in a photo, but when you have a lamp like this on a table you are going to see it.
Anyway I love the color and chippy patina on this piece!
Something you cannot duplicate.
That sweet lamp is a recent find too!
Love the colors of this vintage porcelain lamp, that beautiful shade that has discolored into a warm white from it’s age, and that sweet rose.
I think it’s from the 1940’s.
Since it’s getting darker earlier now, a lamp is must for this room.
I also have my hanging chandelier in the corner above this table, but it’s a very soft light.
But it does add a little sparkle to this room.
This pitcher of drooping roses looks soft and romantic next to my table.
I leave my roses in my pitcher until they start to dry.
I love the soft look as they droop and the colors as they change.
That book is a vintage book of French poetry.
I can’t speak French although I wish I could, it’s such a pretty language.
A stack of one of my favorite magazines, ready to be read….when I have time to sit and relax.
Which is not as often as it used to be.
Normally I am working allot, that’s how it is when you write a blog and own a business.
Most of my time is spent working.
I guess that’s why I love surrounding myself with things I love.
The days are shorter, and there is a chill in the air.
Most days are spent indoors,I think it’s important more now than ever to surround yourself with things that you love.
I have been working hard to finish up Christmas.
Yes I know,it’s not even Thanksgiving yet,but if I waited to start crafts and projects until Thanksgiving ,nothing would get done.
