Yes, you heard that right, more features and I’m writing a book.
Talk about getting to the point of a blog post early.
This has been the year of magazine features, and I truly, truly honored and blessed.
Probably five months or so ago Casa da sogno contacted me about doing a feature.
This lovely publication is from Italy and is very similar to our Romantic Homes magazine.
The exciting part for me is that I photographed the photos for this publication.
This was the March issue, it took awhile to get it delivered here.
Since it’s no longer available to purchase I am sharing the photos here.
I don’t know if I shared this or not, but I am Italian, Hungarian and Irish.
So it was really exciting to get published in an Italian magazine, even though do not speak it.
I really wish I did.
I would love to speak another language, well actually I would love to speak a few languages.
Italian and French!
My daughter is taking French next year is school, so maybe she can teach me.
Even though this is written in Italian, I can sort of make out what they were saying.
They mention Woodstock, the town I live in.
And that the Woodstock I live in is not the Woodstock from the 1960’s Woodstock.
You know what’s really fun for me, is to see my home look so clean!
Seriously if you saw my studio today, well it looks nothing like the day I shot those photos that’s for sure!
I am getting ready for my sale, so it’s extra messy.
You can see these were shot before I added the new color to my kitchen island, and painted my farm house table.
It’s always fun shooting photos of my house.
It really is like playing house, or dress up, except it’s my house.
I just want to remind you again, these are photos of my house on a good day.
It does not look like this every day.
Although I do make my bed every day.
There is something wonderful about getting into a freshly made bed.
The flowers are real, and I do keep them in my home.
I was just reading Rachel Ashwell’s new book and she admits to using Faux flowers in her home and garden at times.
Hmmmm, I really like my real flowers.
There is nothing wrong with using faux, but living here in the midwest I need real.
I need to smell and feel a real flower, especially during those cold dark winter months.
That was not the only surprise I have had recently, I was also featured in Women’s World.
They asked to share my post that went viral.

This is the recent issue, it’s a weekly magazine that’s only available for a short time.
That is pretty surreal, seeing a project you shared in a magazine!
Okay and that’s not all………….
Just the other day I was browsing at the magazines at the market and I came across this.
One of my favorite magazines, and when I opened it…..
I saw my photos and a letter I sent to the editor after my last feature.
This was a total surprise, I had no idea!
And yet one more, I was just featured in DIY Lifestyle Magazine.

These past months have been amazing!
I am so thankful for each and everyone of my features.
And I appreciate you letting me share it with you all.
And so to make myself accountable, I am sharing a little more news.
I am writing a book.
It’s something that I have wanted to do for awhile.
And I know that by announcing it here I am making myself accountable so I can’t chicken out and change my mind.
