Miss Mustard Seeds German Glitter Pumpkins
This is a super easy craft project that can change these boring little pumpkins into pretty glittery gems using Miss Mustard Seeds German glass glitter. Since these baby pumpkins are too yellow for my taste and I don’t like using traditional fall colors in my home.

To begin this project, paint your entire pumpkin using Peach Patina. You’ll need at least two coats of paint. Let this dry in between each coat.
Once the paint was dry, I added Heirloom Traditions 1GEL to my pumpkin. Only apply this to every other section on your pumpkin. We still want to see the paint color.
Then I sprinkled Miss Mustard Seeds German glass glitter on my glued sections on my pumpkin. This glitter is very messy. Make sure you have a paper plate or dish under your pumpkin so all the loose glitter falls on it. Once you’re done with your project you can take all the extra glitter and place it back in the container.
This was a very simple project, but I wanted a little pink and a little bling on my pumpkins. This pumpkin reflects my style more. But, if these colors are not your style use different colors. Black paint next to silver glitter would look amazing! And yes, you can use different glitter. But I prefer using Miss Mustard Seeds German glass glitter. There’s nothing like it. This glitter sparkles like nobody’s business.
These are so sweet! And the best part, besides the lovely color and the bling is that these will last until November. I do enjoy the real baby boos, but they don’t always last until November. Somewhere before Halloween, they start to rot.
Which do you prefer, faux or real pumpkins? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear!

I love your little glam pumpkins. I’m like you I used to go all out for fall and Halloween, now I just put out a few little pumpkins and some autumn flowers and leaves in pretty arrangements. As I look at your post I tell myself I have room for a few of these and they are so easy to make.
Thank you for your tutorial, it is much appreciated.
