Yesterday was a day off of school for my daughter.
We spent the day shopping of course, which made me get way behind in things that I needed to work on today.
But it was worth the time spent together.
Not many teens like spending time with there parents.
Today was a day of catch up, so I’m now even further behind.
I thought that today I had time to start and finish a project.
And I did, but I don’t like how it turned out, so I won’t be sharing it today.
And you can thank me for that 😉
Not every project turns out as I would like it too.
I’ll get back to creating tomorrow.
But I still have a fun craft to share.
I actually shared this a few years ago, but many of you may not have seen it.
This is a very simple, cheap craft.
Best part, you don’t have to glue a thing!
You can read about this simple craft project HERE.

I also wanted to share that I’ve added a few more vintage treasures in the shop.
This lovely Italian Florentine magazine holder.
Isn’t it gorgeous!
I love the soft delicate pink!
And this yummy Italian Florentine waste basket.
It actually makes a pretty vase, it you added a container for water inside.
You can visit the shop HERE.

I also wanted to make an announcement that I will be going back to my old shop format.
I’ve had several people tell me that they liked the way my shop was set up compared to how it is now.
I made the switch because I thought it would be easier to stay on one site.
But I want to do whatever makes it easier for you all.
Because I am making this switch, the paint will no longer be available on my site or in my shop.
I just can set it up the way it is here on the other shop.
Which would mean I would need two shops on my site and that would be very confusing.
You can still purchase my paints and any other paint supplies on the link in my sidebar.
I haven’t moved over yet.
But I am hoping to do so in the next day.
You can still access that shop through my site.
To all of you whom purchased paints and vintage treasures from my shop, I thank you for your support!

The wreath is adorable. Have a great day. So sweet that your daughter loves to hang out with you. That is amazing and believe me they grow up so fast to savor every moment.

Your candy cane wreath is so cute! I’m definitely going to have to give it a try. My husband loves everything candy cane about Christmas! He loads the big tree in our living room with them! I make a centerpiece every year for the kitchen made of fresh oranges and peppermint discs in a large hurricane jar. Last year I wanted to do something else and he strenuously objected!
The treasures from your shop are “drool-worthy”. The magazine holder is so beautiful! I can understand you wanting to change the format of your shop. Any of us who follow you and recommend your blog to others won’t have a bit of problem with it.

Oops! I wanted to mention to you how happy I am that you and your daughter spent the day shopping together. Those will be such precioous memories years from now for BOTH of you. It hasn’t been that long ago that my daughter and I enjoyed shoppoing excursions together, especially for homecoming, prom and sorority ball dresses. We often talk and laugh about some of the more hilarious trips we had and finds we made.
