HOW TO DISGUISE UNDEREYE HOLLOWS

This hack on how to disguise undereye hollows is going to change your life! Concealing our undereye area is so challenging especially if you’re over a certain age.  If you have undereye hollows applying it incorrectly can make your hollows look worse!

CONCEALING UNDEREYE HOLLOWS

First step is to color correct if you have a lot of darkness. Most concealers are full coverage so you don’t have to color correct. But if you do you’ll want to apply that first. The one I recommend is from Bobbi Brown.

Next is the concealer. You can skip the first step if you don’t need to color correct. Using a concealer with a peach undertone will help conceal without using a color corrector.

APPLICATION IS KEY

The most important part of this is application. To apply this correctly we’re going to use a liner brush like this.

Using a tiny brush will give you more control so you’re not using too much product. Remember the more product you apply the more chances it will crease and settle.

Once you apply that product in the tear trough or undereye hollow you’re next going to use a small concealer brush to blend. I find that this works better than using your fingers because we want to control where it’s going so we’re not applying too much product.

 

The concealer I recommend is this from Sisley. It’s my holy grail because it conceals so well but doesn’t look like you’re wearing a concealer. Many concealers can look drying or heavy this one is absolute perfection! And it comes with a concealer brush so you don’t have to purchase one.

Final step is to use a very fine setting powder. For this I like the Charlotte Tilbury airbrushed flawless powder. It’s very fine so it won’t look heavy under your eyes. I apply it with a small brush. Just use a small amount.
