It still feels like summer, but boots and pumpkins are all the rage right now.
I must admit I am still enjoying any bit of heat we have.
Last year our winter was apocalyptic….yes it was that cold!
Extreme cold temperatures that were way below average.
We made history as being the coldest on record!
So when I hear people say how hot they are I just think about the cold one we had last year.
Please don’t mind me if I want to embrace it a little longer.
And my pinks won’t go away….nope I will work with them as the seasons change.
Yes I do enjoy fall………wearing my favorite boots.
My riding boots,I shot this photo myself….it’s not easy taking a selfie while holding flowers.
My new…old pair of cowgirl boots!
Of course I am excited to wear these old boots…but…summer is still calling my name.
Enjoying flowers that are left from the garden….and the farmers market.
Enjoying sitting out on the porch to eat every single day!
Yes it has been a treat enjoying that porch.
Oh yes ,I know our cat will be quite sad when the door is closed for the season.
I wonder if she will still want to sneak out….close her eyes and dream about the summer days spent on the porch…dreaming the day away.
I do enjoy pumpkin season with colors …and soft whites too.
Like these baby boo’s!
The soft white color goes perfectly in my home.
I know I bet you are surprised that I picked a few of these up.
I had to, these little boo’s go fast around here.
If you wait too long you miss out on them.
These are a little larger than the one’s I normally see.
Yes I added a few of these around my home.
As much as I hate to see summer go…fall is coming fast!
So as the days get shorter……with a slight chill in the air…I will slowly start to add touches of fall.
Very simply done….sharing more soon….when fall arrives!
(I see a problem with my pinterest pin button for some reason I have two, working on getting rid of that, sorry if it is annoying.)

Both boots and Boos are my absolute faves this time of year! I haven’t been out and about enough to see the baby boos yet, hope to get some soon. We just got a puppy so I’ve been outside in the muck much more than usual lately, boots are coming in handy! Happy Fall!

I don’t blame you for savoring the last days of summer since you have such brutal Winters there! Here in GA though we usually have mild Winters and brutal summers! So, I’m glad to see summer go away. LOL! I guess our mild Winters are what bring so many northerners our way. We have many transplants here! Love your little white pumpkins.

Kelly I am hoping to move somewhere warmer…but I guess it depends on where my daughter ends up.

Love those boots too, but sandals are my favorite foot wear. Let’s hang on to those lazy summer days as long as we can. Since I’m a teacher, those bare foot days are precious! Stretch it out as long as you can! Cute little baby boos, I’d better grab a few!
Hugs,
Patti

You captured that feeling of having a foot ( a boot covered one!) in each season Anne. And I feel the same way! 🙂
Anne says
Oh so glad I am not the only one Vanessa!

Yes Anne, watching the summer come to an end is hard for me too. But I do love fall, and yes, I find that I have been wearing my cowboy boots a lot more often (even on the horse 🙂 than usual. So long to my flip flops :((( for awhile.
I love your whites today—and always love the baby boos!

You are a girl after my own heart. I too am a summer, flip-flop gal. It is very warm today and waiting on storms coming in to cool things down, but until then, am enjoying my porch swing and listening to the locust and frogs.
Anne says
Becky it sounds like a perfect day! I love sitting outside enjoying nature.I will miss those days very soon.

I am loving the boots, but I can’t wear boots in Florida. It’s too hot here. LOL, Anne, I enjoyed catching up around your awesome blog. Have a great week.
Anne says
Thanks so much Vanessa! I am so jealous! I would love to live in your beautiful state…maybe someday.

Love your boots, Anne! I was just saying to my co-workers that I need to get some new boots this year (especially since I am working again). I am with you ~ hanging on to summer for however long it will stay. I am not looking forward to winter after the horrible one we had with all the ice and snow. I keep hearing that the farmers almanac is saying we will have the same again this year. It makes me shiver with dread!
Anne says
Thanks Kathy! Well it looks like I will be wearing my boots today…it’s only in the 50’s!
