It's hard to think about fall on a day like today.It is nearly 100 degrees. Outside there are no colors of fall yet. But soon there will be. I usually wait until the end of September to start adding fall to my home. But this year I am sharing it a little early...giving you a sneak peek at what's to come. I have added pink to my home and I plan on keeping it out all year. My flowers are late in blooming and have really taken off. The bushes are abundant with beautiful flowers. I decided to cut some and add them to some vignettes that I will be sharing soon. Changes are happening.As much as I want to hold on to summer...... I can feel it in the air and see it in my garden..... changes are coming. I am trying to hold on to the fresh air and soft summer breeze. The warm summer sun....flip flops....the sound of the birds and crickets. But changes are about to happen. Big changes not just in the season that is closely approaching. But soon some changes around here too. Enjoying my beautiful roses as they are starting to wilt. Have you ever come across something that speaks to you?This statue said Jeanne d' Arc style  to me as soon as  I laid my eyes  on it. Such a sweet face....chippy patina and the color is perfection. Jeanne d' Arc living is one of  my favorite magazines to find inspiration. This statue looks a bit French to me. Although I knew this was a Catholic statue. I was not sure of the meaning and I am still not sure what it symbolizes. My friend thought it was silly to pick up a statue not knowing it's meaning. But I fell for the beauty of this piece.....still at first....believe it or not I was a bit hesitant. Should I get it or not? That is the key......stay focused. When I started my blog almost two years ago....it will be two years in January. I never thought about the time I would give to blogging. I started out with the intent of sharing my love of decorating . But soon I was joining in on linky parties. I learned that it was a good way to get your blog out there and meet other bloggers too! At first I was posting almost every day. Sharing new ideas and soon after seeing my photos of my home I knew I wanted to change my home that reflected me and my style. Stay focused..... Hope you enjoyed your long weekend! I cannot believe that summer will be ending soon and fall will be arriving! This past weekend we celebrated my birthday.It was on Wednesday but it was hard getting out during the week with school and after school activities. My sweet daughter took a photo of my husband and I at a French restaurant he took us too for my birthday.
