Hope you all had a great weekend! Fall is in the air around here and I am slowly starting my fall decor. Yesterday I shared some exciting news you can read it HERE Today I will share a little more news with you.I am gearing up to do a mini makeover on our master bathroom and my daughters bathroom. With the cost of our big project I need to stick to a very small budget. Most of the changes will be with paint. I will share the progress as I go along. But I recently found this old train luggage rack that will make it's way into my bathroom for towels. I hung it on my farmhouse door just to take a photo of it. This is an oldie and it was found at one of my favorite antique shops. Love the patina on this piece.....and it is really heavy. We don't have ... View Post
And The Cow Says Moo Vintage Milk Pitcher
I am busy gathering and decorating for fall.Recently I came across this vintage milk pitcher. I knew it would work perfectly in my home not only for fall but year round! This pitcher is in amazing condition on the outside. It almost looks brand new. But in the inside there are cracks and crazing. I can imagine this on a farmhouse table at one time filled with fresh milk right from a cow! We are having a rainy day here today. Not much sunlight for photos. I decided to shoot photos of vintage milk pitcher on my favorite pink chippy chair. I moved our farmhouse table out of the way and put the chair in the best light we have in our house right now the patio door in our kitchen. But that is about to change very soon. The lighting in ... Colors Of Fall
It's hard to think about fall on a day like today. It is nearly 100 degrees. Outside there are no colors of fall yet. But soon there will be. I usually wait until the end of September to start adding fall to my home. But this year I am sharing it a little early...giving you a sneak peek at what's to come. I have added pink to my home and I plan on keeping it out all year. My flowers are late in blooming and have really taken off. The bushes are abundant with beautiful flowers. I decided to cut some and add them to some vignettes that I will be sharing soon. This French basket works great for gathering flowers from my garden. It's also used when I shop my farmers market. I am very fond of the heirloom pumpkins. The colors ... View Post

Jeanne d’ Arc style
Have you ever come across something that speaks to you? This statue said Jeanne d' Arc style to me as soon as I laid my eyes on it. Such a sweet face....chippy patina and the color is perfection. Jeanne d' Arc living is one of my favorite magazines to find inspiration. This statue looks a bit French to me. Although I knew this was a Catholic statue. I was not sure of the meaning and I am still not sure what it symbolizes. My friend thought it was silly to pick up a statue not knowing it's meaning. But I fell for the beauty of this piece.....still at first....believe it or not I was a bit hesitant. Should I get it or not? It is quite heavy so I placed it on the counter as I continued to browse the store. Do you do that? Contemplate whether you ... View Post
