I decided to do a little photo shoot with my daughter  modeling this lovely Prairie style vintage prom dress. I have lots to learn about photography and one way to learn is to practice. Yes lighting is key and when shooting outdoors the time of day is also key. But when you are working with your teenage daughter you can't always pick the time of day to shoot. You can see I have lots of shadows on my photos,some were edited out but not all can be. This is an open field near our home,it makes a perfect back ground when shooting outdoors. Ah the romance of fall,the cool crisp air,the smell of burning leaves and fire places. The sound of crunching leaves on the ground. Natures colors turn golden. It's time to pull out our sweaters,and boots. And let's not forget about those soft warm blankets and snuggling by the fire. **This shot was from last winter.** Doesn't fall sound amazing! I mean who wouldn't want to live somewhere that was so beautiful this time of the year. Drinking a cup of hot apple cider,visiting the apple orchards. Taking a hay ride. Let's take a look at what's new in the shop and a winner,This week I am adding a few more linens and some some pillows. These pillows are dated back to the 1940's the fabric is amazing for it's age! I love the gorgeous roses of course,but also the blue. It's sort of a French blue,and I am loving blue so much these days! These will be sold as a pair because I really think you need more than one pillow. When I found these pillows while out treasure hunting I also found this lovely skirt too! Not sure if it was for an ottoman or a table but I think you could use it for either. Same fabric as the pillows again this is also in wonderful condition for it's age. Did you know that there is actually a pumpkin  called a pink porcelain doll pumpkin,it's a hybrid. Okay so one night I was sitting at my computer and thinking....hmmmmm wonder if they have pink pumpkins? I mean they have green pumpkins,blue pumpkins,white pumpkins,peanut pumpkins...why not pink. So I google searched it and sure enough there are pink pumpkins! I knew I had to find one of these pumpkins so the search was on. And so I found one,at Walmart of all places! This was the only one at our local Walmart. But I wanted one more...so....I drove to yet another Walmart and found this one. I have a dark secret to share,this is not easy ,in fact it's something I have been hiding from you all. Yes I have been keeping a secret from you all but today I thought I would come clean. I am a little nervous at what you are going to think,when you see what I am about to share. This is my family,and if you notice I don't share my whole room.
