When I revealed my master bedroom I was missing one piece of furniture,my new chippy side table. Actually it is a vintage wash stand. Over the summer I spotted this lovely piece at one of my favorite antique shop's. When I first saw this chippy table the first time I passed it up. I did not have a spot for it and as much as I adored the chippy pink paint with this perfect aged patina I passed it up! But when I decided to change things around in my bedroom I thought this would look perfectly. Actually truth be told after reading and drooling over Rachel Ashwell's book a light bulb went off in my head. This washstand makes a wonderful side table. I took the piece off that was used to hang hand towels. It did not seem to work with my mirror on my wall and for now I ... View Post
A Little Red Tractor
I recently came across this sweet little red tractor.I knew it would fit in well with my farmhouse kitchen. I fell for the perfectly chippy red paint. A child's toy at one time now adorns the shelf above my refrigerator in my kitchen. At first I thought this might be a perfect match for my old farmhouse. When you look at it from this perspective it seems to work. But as you get a little closer you realize that the tractor is a bit too big for that sweet farmhouse. Yes I think this little tractor fits perfectly in this kitchen. Chippy paint....and all! Today at Live Creatively Inspired I am sharing how to make a headband without sewing! Studio Craft Room My Space
Let's see how many times can I change my studio.I know I changed it recently. But my studio craft room is my space. My own personal space to create. And well it's not always picture perfect. I seem to clean this room the most. Not only do I create in this room but I also store all of my found treasures that I will soon be listing in my shop. Soon to open right here on this blog! I have lots of boxes I have been saving for shipping out treasures. This room was starting to feel dark. Remember I shared with you that I moved my antique sewing machine in this room. Well after it was in this room I just was not feeling it.....ya know? For now it is put away in storage. Do you see that door in the corner? That is the other door my friend Kris from Junk Chic Cottage ... View Post

Transforming A Master Bedroom
Transforming a master bedroom, you are probably thinking what again?Didn't you just do this? Why yes I did! In fact it was almost a year ago that my bedroom went through it's first transformation. You can read about it HERE. I know it has not been quite a year yet but I was ready for a little change. After reading Rachel Ashwell's book I got inspired to make a few changes. Putting some things away and not leaving so much out,a cleaner look. I am trying to focus on pieces I really love and that really make a statement in my rooms. This may come as a shock to you but I wanted to add a little color too! I know.....I know I still love my white.
