That is the key......stay focused. When I started my blog almost two years ago....it will be two years in January. I never thought about the time I would give to blogging. I started out with the intent of sharing my love of decorating . But soon I was joining in on linky parties. I learned that it was a good way to get your blog out there and meet other bloggers too! At first I was posting almost every day. Sharing new ideas and soon after seeing my photos of my home I knew I wanted to change my home that reflected me and my style. Stay focused..... But one room lead to yet another room. I was focused on my blog and I was able to keep up with parties and my reading. Stay focused..... Before long lots of boards started popping up on facebook. Evolution Of My Kitchen
As many of you know my kitchen is one of my favorite rooms in our home. I thought I would share with you the evolution of my kitchen. Some of you may not have been following along when I first started blogging and never saw the before photos. This is one room that changes often but now has more of a style than it did a few years ago. It was not an ugly kitchen and the cabinets were nice....but they were not me at all! A Chandelier For The Hall
As you know I have been slowly changing out my builders selection of light fixtures in my home.I have been searching for a chandelier for my upstairs hallway but I was not finding anything that was my style. It needed to be similar in style as my foyer and landing chandelier. But I did not want them to match. It needed to be different and distinct. I received a email from Lamps.com They asked me if I would be interested in looking at their large selection of lights and fixtures. If I found something I liked I could share it with you all. I was a bit hesitant as I did not know if they would have anything that would fit my style. I was surprised at the amazing selection you have at Lamps.com Not only do they have a great selection but they have a great range of prices ... View Post

She has her displayed on her beautiful stove hood HERE. I missed this on Decor Steals the first couple of times around and honestly thought it would not be available again. And then one day there is was! As you can see Marian totally inspired this look. When she first added it to her kitchen she had it on her chalk board wall. Now she has it on her beautiful stove hood. After I painted my wall inspired by Miss Mustard seed I added those frames and I was hoping that rusty brown cow head would soon come back as a deal on Decor Steals. I love this brown cow head! It looks ... View Post
