Small Kitchen Island Ideas With Seating Until we moved into our current home with our kitchen island I never understood the point of having one. I will tell you that having a kitchen island is one of my favorite parts of my kitchen. Chippy Paint Technique Simple Tutorials I love the look of chippy paint. It's not easy to find pieces that have that original chippy patina. When you do find them they are often very expensive. Well at least that's how it's been for me. You also need to keep in mind that those older pieces with chippy paint most likely have lead paint.
