MAKEUP FOR MATURE SKIN

Today I am sharing my holiday master bedroom as part of the home for the holidays tour. Since I am a part of so many tours this year I have been sharing a room with each tour. For the past few years I have wanted a white tree in our bedroom. I found the perfect tree at Walmart! My vintage shabby ornaments look perfect on this white tree,and the lights are so pretty. They have a soft pastel color. Do you wrap your presents in a special spot of your home? I wrap gifts in our bedroom,I don't know why but I always have. I guess it's the only spot in our house where I can close the door and really have privacy. How was your Thanksgiving? I enjoyed spending time with my husbands family,with our busy lives we only see each other during the Holidays. Normally before blogging I would have started my decorating today,so I bet many of you are decorating today,or shopping.  Being a blogger I start a month ahead of time,actually on Halloween! I was searching for fresh wreaths and garland and I stumbled onto Lynch Creek Farms. I was drawn to the beauty and style of there wreaths and garland. And then I read their story. Lynch Creek Farm started out as a hobby,they needed something to keep there children busy and out of trouble. They started out with an organic farm back in 1984,where they sold there goods at the Olympia Farmers Market.It's  the 2nd largest farmers market in Washington State and they still sell there today. I love the story of this family and business. They worked hard and made their dream a reality. You can see the love and care with each piece. Recently while I was out treasure hunting I came across this gorgeous vintage Shabby Chic style dresser. I never know what I will come across when I am out treasure hunting. As I have shared before I mostly shop thrift stores and I am really lucky coming across cool vintage pieces. But this one is probably one of my favorite finds ever! This piece screams Shabby Chic! I think if Rachel Ashwell saw it she would be quite happy too! Now I really did not need another piece of furniture for my home. But how could I pass up a gorgeous piece like this? I have some exciting news concerning my shop but before we get to that let's take a look at what's new in the shop this week. I love finding pretty linens and I was thrilled to come across these lovely treasures. First is the beautiful pair of Rachel Ashwell pillow shams from her Simply Shabby Chic line. Adorned with these gorgeous pink roses in a beautiful shabby chic green,and the ruffles are perfection! These are quite large and I am guessing they are king size. Besides using these on your bed,they would look perfect on a sofa or an oversize chair! These look like Rachel Ashwells but they are not. But still they have lots of Shabby Chic charm.
