A few weeks ago I was lucky to attend Jeniffer Rizzo's Creatively Christmas book signing. Winner Announced! It was held in a beautiful old train museum building. This was the same place we met up last spring for our yearly blogging event that Jeniffer so graciously plans. I love this room is so charming and I love the history behind it! Traci the owner of Whimsy in Morris Ill,helped Jennifer decorate this lovely room. I love this glittered up sign! And the hat on top of this tinsel tree. Little Hersey kisses around a cut piece of log make the perfect setting for this miniature tree display. Isn't this cute! Great idea for a holiday party centerpiece! I have lots to show you this week as part of, what's new in the shop! Well I know you are going to think I have lost my mind....but I am going to start my Christmas decorating next week! I know....I know it's Halloween. But that's how it is when you are a blogger! I need to keep ahead of the game! With so much to do and share,I can't wait. So,because I am starting my decorating early I thought many of you might be starting your holiday decor shopping too! This week I am listing lots of beautiful vintage ornaments. I love adding a centerpiece to my tables,here are five ideas to add a simple centerpiece. A table looks a little too plain and boring for me just to leave it without anything. Here is a very simple look,nothing needs to be complicated when you add a centerpiece. A lace tablecloth layered with a ruffled pink throw,even though this does not fit the table all the way it still looks pretty. I love things that are casual and not fancy,just pretty. A simple pitcher of roses fits perfectly as this centerpiece. Same table now I just added  old scale. I love using vintage scales in my home. Here is what's new in the shop this week! Since we are getting closer to the holidays I thought I might start adding a few items as I find them. Like these lovely vintage pink mercury glass ornament spikes. Love the color on these. They would look beautiful on a tree or in a glass jar! I love using trays for entertaining. Did you read my post here for must haves when entertaining? I like using them for my snack,beverage and dessert station. This one has beautiful patina,and I love the dark color too! This tray is Italian Florentine. It's full of wonderful patina! I don't find these trays in this color often as they are normally gold.
